Welcome From The Local OrganisersOn behalf of the University of Bergen, and the Department of Archaeology, History, Cultural Studies and Religion, it is a great pleasure for us to welcome you to the 12th annual EBHA conference and our beautiful city of Bergen. We will do our utmost to make the congress a success both scholarly and in terms of tourism. Theme for the EBHA 2008 conference: Transactions and interactions - The flow of goods, services and information. The congress will take place at the Clarion Hotel Admiral in the heart of the city. We have arranged special rates for rooms, meals and drinks for the participants. Please see Venue-page.
